Anita Murphy
Board Member
Anita Murphy joined the Board of Philanthropy Ireland in May 2026, bringing over twenty years’ experience across credit risk, financial markets, corporate banking, business development and portfolio management.
Anita is currently Investment Manager at Long Term Foundation, a Philanthropy Ireland Member, where she supports the foundation’s work in impact-focused investment. Prior to this, Anita spent many years with Ulster Bank, working across corporate and institutional banking, corporate coverage and financial institutions, following earlier roles in various other financial institutions. Her career has given her strong experience across regulated financial products, relationship management and portfolio oversight.
Anita also holds a Masters in Finance from University College Dublin, a Professional Diploma in Corporate Banking Credit from IOB, and has completed further professional development in ESG and sustainability strategy, risk and reporting.
Her blend of banking, investment and sustainability experience will bring valuable perspective to Philanthropy Ireland’s work to support a stronger and more strategic philanthropic sector in Ireland.
