Crann Centre
Crann's strategic priority is to shape the future of family-centred disability care by scaling its 2Gen Model of Care for children, adults and families living with neuro-physical disabilities. The model brings together six interconnected areas of support - psychological wellbeing, health and continence, education and career pathways, mobility, independent living and social capital - so families can access coordinated, wraparound support in one trusted place. Crann is also strengthening research, outcomes and partnerships so lived experience, evidence and learning inform service development and wider systems change.
Their Impact
Crann's impact is seen in better health and wellbeing, greater confidence, reduced isolation and increased participation in education, work, leisure and community life. Its 2024 SROI analysis of four key programmes found that Crann generated EUR3.68 in social value for every EUR1 invested, with participants reporting improved mental wellbeing, confidence, peace of mind, social inclusion, independence and acceptance. The model also creates value for parents and carers, giving families a place where they are understood, supported and able to navigate disability with greater hope.
