CCLA
CCLA is one of the leading investment managers for charities in the UK. We look after 30,000 not-for-profit clients, more than any other investment manager in the UK.[1]
For over 60 years we have proudly supported organisations of all sizes, whose missions shape national life and local communities — from large national charities to health and care organisations.
Our purpose is to help clients maximise their impact on society by harnessing the power of investment markets. This requires us to provide a supportive and stable environment for staff and deliver trusted, responsibly managed and strongly performing products and services to our clients.
We work to promote the common good through our distinctive approach to stewardship. Pushing for change on climate, helping to address modern day slavery and engaging with companies regarding the mental health of their workforces.

Their Impact
At CCLA, stewardship is central to our investment philosophy. We are committed to using our voice as investors in ways that aim to help support long‑term value creation, social justice and environmental sustainability.
Our approach recognises the priorities of our unique client base. We actively engage with the companies in which we invest and build pioneering engagement programmes designed to help kick-start the investment industry into action on underserved sustainability challenges.
Our stewardship work is broadly categorised into three pillars – better work, better environment and better health.
Over the past year, we have:
engaged with 367 companies across themes including biodiversity, climate action, mental health, modern slavery, and nutrition
seen 105 companies improve their approach/processes across one of our stewardship pillars
£16 trillion in assets supporting CCLA engagements
