Social Entrepreneurs Ireland support social entrepreneurs to take their ideas from start-up to scale-up, through their suite of support programmes. They are currently accepting applications for support and want to hear from both early stage ideas and projects that are ready to scale and grow.

There are two ways that social entrepreneurs and aspiring social entrepreneurs can apply for support from SEI – The Academy and The Awards Programme

The Academy

The Academy for Social Entrepreneurs is a six-month programme valued at €7,500 per project place, taking place this year in Galway, Cork, and Dublin. 45 participants will receive mentorship, training and a network of support to bring them from idea to action, and also have the opportunity to pitch for a share of €30,000 in seed funding.

The Awards Programme

Six award winners, each with an innovative new approach to solving a social problem in Ireland, will receive €20,000 in unrestricted funding, and a place on a nine-month accelerator programme worth €20,000. As Awardees, they will receive training, mentorship, and gain access to SEI’s community of experts and pro bono supporters.

More details on the supports available can be found here.

Applications Close March 19th.
