Philanthropy Ireland welcomes the findings from “Enlarging the Space for European Philanthropy”, a report commissioned by the Donors and Foundations Network in Europe (DAFNE) and the European Foundation Centre (EFC).

The study by Oonagh Breen, professor of law at UCD Sutherland School of Law, calls for a number of actions relating to Europe’s philanthropic sector including more recognition for  philanthropy in treaties and European fundamental rights.
