Philanthropy Ireland member Cork Foundation, in partnership with CPL & REPUBLIC OF WORK held Cork’s second Hack for Good on Friday 13th October 2017.

#HackForGood was a 12-hour event, whereby five charities received an online makeover, worth 10,000 euro through the skills and expertise of volunteers. The five worthy projects who were chosen included: Surf2Heal East Cork, Equine Assisted Learning (EAL), S.H.A.R.E., Togher Family Centre & Down Syndrome Centre Cork.

“We were overwhelmed with the support of the tech community in giving back to these 5 worthy Cork organisations. This is a great initiative and we look forward to seeing where it goes in the future”, commented CEO of Cork Foundation Padraic Vallely.
