On November 26th Karen Hand attended our Plenary Meeting to present the results of her PhD to the Board and Members of Philanthropy Ireland.

Karen is the most recent Ray Murphy Bursary recipient after receiving her grant in 2012.
She has been studying and researching the role of branding and marketing within the not-for-profit section for the last 5 years.

Karen undertook three different topics in her research, bringing them together for an informative and compelling finish:
1. Brand & Branding in a not-for-profit organisation
2. Decision making by the public in their giving strategies
3. The National Happiness Experiment
